The Next Day

I gave my formal notice to quit today. It was pretty emotional for me. Telling Al, my boss wasn't too bad. He knew it was coming. Telling Tim, my former boss, was a lot harder. I did start welling up. Tim helped bring Lisa and me together. I told the crew too which I hated because I don't want any attention, I'm the guy that likes to stand in the corner trying to melt into the wall. Of course everyone wants to ask questions about it. It's nice that they want to congratulate me and are curious but I'd rather not talk about it, for all I know I'm making the biggest mistake of my life right now.
